This is Novus, the character I've mentioned quite a bit about. Now, as you can see, this whole thing is a mess. The only thing I'm really happy about is the head, but that's stretching it, because I added ink and it went a bit off. I need to work on inking...after I've established a firm ability to draw and understand body structure...

I have two versions of Novus, my truly original one (Novus Astrum Lunarian) and the one I use for fan fiction (Novus Noctis Caelum). Sounds unnecessary, true, but it's just something that came to mind. If, for some reason, I got into drawing my own comics (which I doubt), I'd want him to actually be mine, along with other characters I've come up with. But for the most part, I'll simply refer to him by his original name, not the fan fiction counterpart.

For the record, Novus Astrum Lunarian means "new star of the moon," or something along the lines of that. The other version means "new night sky." Though, I'm a bit iffy on the original version's last name...I want it to mean "moon," but I don't think Lunarian fits.

Novus belongs to me.
